About the Author: I call myself Survival Mom because like most of us moms, I take one day at a time and hope to survive to the next. Well, it’s not that bad….but, wow, what a fun roller coaster ride life is as a mom!
I'm lovin' every minute of this crazy adventure so much I co-wrote the upcoming book "The Survival Guide For Rookie Moms" due out in Spring 2010. I'm also a wife and full time entrepreneur who tries to squeeze fitness into my insane schedule. Sound familiar? I'm just like every other mom I know...

Thanks for the chance.

Nice giveaway. I am 4 months pregnant so this will be perfect. Hope I win!
I keep organized by touching things once. When the mail comes in, I pay bills, file, or recycle it. When a dish is dirtied, it goes right in the dishwasher. Things like that, so you avoid doing things twice.
I keep organized by post-its. I have post its everywhere, but it works!
I try to keep organized by doing what needs to be done as soon as i think of it:)
I keep myself organized by writing down everything I have to do in a day the night before and slip into my pants pocket so I always stay on task.
What is organized? I have to write everything down or I will forget.
Working in accounting has taught me alot about being organized. Unfortunately the one touch rule doesn’t work at work as we have to handle papers many times before things get finished. But I try to use the do it while you are thinking about it rule, that way you don’t forget, oh and always have a big write on erasable calendar in your kitchen. VERY VERY handy everyone jots down their appts and we all know where each other is supposed to be
i would like to be but i’m not mverno@roadrunner.com
I tend to use a lot of lists to keep myself organized and a large filing cabinet.
I use the google calendar program to keep myself organized! We put all the family events in it and then it is a breeze to check and keep ourselves on track!

I have three lists, one list the things I must do today, one list of things that need to be done this week, and one general to do list with no exact priority.
Make lists.
Keeping organized is not my strong point but I always tried to keep only important items and throw away anything that I don’t need so items don’t accumulate.

I have to do lists or else I forget important items.

Post its, file folders and plastic tubs!
I keep things organized by working with my husband and children. We sort things out together. Put things where they need to be and sit down together and designate jobs. Thanks for the great contest and Happy New Year
I try to keep organized by writing everything down on the calendar. If it’s not on the calendar it gets forgotten about. I make lots of lists too and stick post-its on the mirrors.
